Some Christmas dinners taste like every other Christmas dinner. UYARE’s doesn’t. As a family-run South Indian restaurant in the heart of Leeds, we bring the warmth, generosity and bold coastal flavours of Kerala to the festive table, from a Kerala Style Duck Roast to two Christmas menus built for sharing.
Whether it’s Christmas dinner for two or a party of twenty or more, we’ll look after you. Bigger groups can take over the room, with two Christmas menus to choose from, vegetarian and vegan options, and entertainment arranged for you. This Year's Christmas Menus
Two Christmas set menus, served in the restaurant for lunch and dinner. Both are built for sharing, both carry vegetarian and vegan choices, and both are available to tables of any size, from 2 to a full party of 300 guests.
£50 dinner
Two courses: Start with crispy masala cauliflower, pepper-fried beef or Kerala fried fish, then settle into a fish, chicken or lamb curry, or one of two vegan curries. Rice, paratha and masala potatoes come to the table to share, with our Kerala Style Duck Roast alongside. Vegetarian options at every course, with vegan starters and mains.
£60 dinner
Three Courses: Our full Christmas spread. Seven starters, from crispy cauliflower to prawns, eight mains including a seafood curry and paneer masala, then a sweet finish of coconut pudding, kulfi or ice cream. The sides and our Kerala Style Duck Roast come to the table too. Vegetarian options at every course, plus a vegan starter and two vegan mains.
Christmas dining in Leeds, with Kerala flavour
UYARE is family-run and independent. The kitchen cooks the food of Kerala’s coast Meen Chatti Curry, Kunjaadu lamb, Kerala paratha and at Christmas it cooks that same food with the season’s generosity behind it.
Christmas lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant on the third floor at Victoria Gate. The bar upstairs handles the drinks festive cocktails before dinner, bottomless brunch on the rooftop through the season.

Christmas parties in Leeds, handled properly
A table of eight or a party of a hundred or more, the restaurant takes both, and the same two menus cover both. Tell us the numbers and we’ll tell you exactly what the room looks like.

Contact the team to plan your Christmas booking. For larger parties we can offer a private space in the restaurant, and private dining is available on request at any time of day.
£10 per person, two weeks ahead
For groups of 15 or more, a £10 per person deposit is taken at least two weeks before the booking. It comes off your final bill on the night.
