Two Christmas set menus, served in the restaurant for lunch and dinner. Both are built for sharing, both carry vegetarian and vegan choices, and both are available to tables of any size — from two to a full party of a hundred. If you're after a Christmas menu Leeds doesn't already serve on every other high street, this is it — Kerala's coast, cooked for the season.
UYARE is family-run and independent. The kitchen cooks the food of Kerala's coast — Meen Chatti Curry finished in a clay pot, Kunjaadu lamb, paratha pulled by hand — and at Christmas it cooks that same food with the season's generosity behind it.
Christmas lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant on the third floor at Victoria Gate. The bar upstairs handles the drinks — festive cocktails before dinner, bottomless brunch on the rooftop through the season.
A table of eight or a party of a hundred — the restaurant takes both, and the same two menus cover both. Tell us the numbers and we'll tell you exactly what the room looks like.
The restaurant seats a full party of 70 to 100 for Christmas. For smaller celebrations that still want their own room, private dining is available on request, at any time of day.
For groups of 15 or more, a £10 per person deposit is taken at least two weeks before the booking. It comes off your final bill on the night.
